One Year Anniversary!

One year ago, Jodi and I were getting married at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. It was a beautiful day at about 120 degrees, but the heat wasn't that bad because Jodi was only wearing a wedding dress and I was only wearing three layers of clothing under my tuxedo jacket. We had so much fun at our wedding; the atmosphere was so relaxed with no stress - only smiles! If you are getting married, I would suggest finding a location where you can have your ceremony and reception at the same place. We went out to the Melting Pot with Bruce and Carleen, Jodi's parents, to celebrate our mutual anniversary. We also ate some of our wedding cake that was remade for us so that we didn't have to freeze it for a year.

San Diego County Fair

Jodi and I went to the San Diego County Fair this past Sunday, and had an awesome time! Below you will find a picture of the fair from the top of a roller coaster, pictures of the 100% organic and all-natural fair food, a picture of a lama from the livestock barn, an old typewriter and letters from a printing press, a display created by a person who catalogs money that they have found, a display by a family that gets their picture taken at the fair dating back to 1986 (the year of the couple's marriage), a dog taxi, our own photo booth experience, and a bungie jumper. The fair is one fun and exciting place! You can also click on the pictures to make the a little bigger, the photo booth picture can be seen very large (we had so much fun!).

Seagate

I have purchased two identical 750GB (for a total of 1.5TBs) Seagate external hard drives. I am still forming my opinion of them, so far, they're great!

Canon 5D

I have just purchased a Canon 5D! I am so excited, I can't wait to get a new lense to try out this wonderful piece of equipment.

Memorial Day Weekend

For the Memorial Holiday, we went to Sea World on Saturday and then jet skiing at Mission Bay on Sunday. We feed the dolphins at Sea World (I've never touched a dolphin before) and saw almost every show! When we went jet skiing, we rode up to the penguin cage (Sea World is right on Mission Bay). Teddy Bear had a great time - he even swam for the first time ever! We spent almost the whole day at the beach and everyone was so tired that we all fell asleep on the drive back home.

Hanauma Bay

Here is a picture from our honeymoon - we were snorkeling in Hanauma Bay on Oahu, Hawaii. That is Jodi swimming behind a sea turtle. It was amazing! If you're ever on Oahu, you have to stop by Hanauma Bay, but get there extra early because the crowds can get pretty big.
