Congratulations Jason and Nuria!

Here are a few pictures from Jason and Nuria's wedding. I had tons of fun shooting this beautiful wedding! The reception was at Angelo's and Vinci's, and was absolutely amazing. I also made an excellent friend that day, Sandra Salisbury, who is a great photographer and also covered Jason and Nuria's wedding.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Jodi and I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this past Sunday. It was excellent! We read for hours on end; only stopping for meals. At the end, though, we were both very sad that the journey was over. Jodi read the first book back in 1998, so Harry Potter has been in our lives for a very long time. Wedding and Sissy!

Last weekend I helped out a friend, Sandra, by shooting second camera at a wedding that she was photographing. I had so much fun and the lucky couple was absolutely amazing! I'm in the middle of editing their pictures, so I'll post a few up later. In the meantime, my Aunt-In-Law Carrie (whom we call Sissy) has just arrived in San Diego and she has brought tickets to So You Think You Can Dance with her! We are driving up to L.A. on Thursday for the results show - we're very excited. A funny note: the dress code is "club-wear" :)

Painting

We rented 28 Weeks Later (very scary), and we drove to Palm Springs because there was a great scrapbooking super store that Jodi absolutely fell in love with and wanted to check out. I also painted this portrait of a lake in autumn. It is originally on two pieces of canvas, but I blended them to upload it to my blog. Each canvas is about 16x20.
